Bolivian star expected to land in South Africa in coming weeks.

In terms of signing talent, Mamelodi Sundowns have distanced themselves a bit from looking at northern Africa and tend to put more eyes in South America. The log leaders have once again pulled one of their tricks as they splashed a reported R18.5 million on a Bolivian star. Saavedra Flores becomes the latest addition to the tower of star at Sundowns.

The 25-year-old midfielder is expected to arrive in South Africa after the FIFA 2022 World Cup qualifiers, with Bolivia scheduled to take on Venezuela away and Chile at home between 28 January and the 1st of February.

Flores is believed to be working on his Visa document which will allow him to cross over to South Africa as he looks set for a new chapter in his career with Masandawana.

Mamelodi Sundowns are one team that puts effort in utilizing the transfer window and they usually do business in a stylish fashion, spending the big bugs to get any talent the consider suitable to complete their puzzle in their squad.

The squad depth of Mamelodi Sundowns continues to grow and the club has at one point mentioned that they are doing this intentionally as they feel it's necessary given the amount of competitions they play every season.

In terms of game time, those who seem to have fallen way down the packing order will be given the options to explore with other team via loan deals.

Mamelodi Sundowns are now expected to officially announce the signing of Flores and will be unveiled when he has arrived in the country.
