It was indeed a sad moment for the Western Africa side, Ghana, after they were knocked out of the Afcon competition.
The Black stars were trailing by one goal when their captain Andrew Ayew was given a straight red card.
Comoros were then able to score another goal, taking themselves closer to the AFCON knockout stages. However, Ghana were able to pull one back. They then gained their confidence back and fought for the 2nd goal.
Despite being one man down, the Black stars were able to score another goal and leveled the matter.
Just when the game was about to come to an end, Comoros scored their third goal.
While Ghana returns home after being kicked out of the competition, Comoros will have to wait and see how other national teams play as they eye the best third place position.
