Ismaily held onto their lead and ended the first half on 1-0. In the second half of the match, Ismaily managed to extend their lead when Shokry Naguib scored. Al Masry got on the score sheet when Mohamed Grendo scored. Al Masry started scoring a little to late as Ismaily claimed all three points to win the match 2-1 in the end.

In the second half of the match Ismaily extended their lead to 2-0 when Shokry Naguib scored his goal in the 61st minute of the match. Al Masry managed to score their goal in the 89th minute when Mohamed Grendo scored to change the score to 2-1 in the match. Ismaily held onto their lead and won the match 2-1 at full-time. Al Masry would have been in the second place spot above Al Ahly and Al Ittihad of they won the match, but since they lost, they remained in the 4th place spot on the table. Ismaily are in the relegation zone with 14 points.
