Black Leopards FC played their latest fixture in the GladAfrica Championship against Platinum City Rovers at home, and picked up three much needed points after winning the match 2-1 at full-time. Black Leopards scored one goal in the first half of the match and one goal in the second half of the match, as they secured their lead at 2-0 by the 51st minute and conceded in the 74th minute of the match.

Black Leopards FC opened the scoring in the 14th minute of the match as they scored to lead the match at 1-0 and held onto their lead to lead at the half-time break. Early in the second half of the match Tiklas Thutlwa scored for Leopards as they extended their lead to 2-0 when he found the back of the net in the 51st minute of the match. Platinum City Rovers scored their only goal in the 74th minute as the score changed to 2-1.

Tiklas Thutlwa has now scored his 5th goal of the season in his 11th appearance for the club to date, and at this rate he will be scoring more goals and could possibly end up becoming the top scorer at the end of the season if he keeps up his scoring form.

Black Leopards FC was in the relegation zone before the match against Platinum City Rovers, but after they picked up three points from their 2-1 win they moved out of the relegation zone and into the 13th place spot on the log with 10 points after 11 matches played.
