When the transfer window comes around, players who are without clubs see it as an opportunity to try and get themselves a new club and get their careers back on track.
According to a source who is close to the situation, the player who was deemed surplus to requirements at Sundowns has been impressive in training for Supersport, giving them something to think about in terms of them thinking of handing him a contract.
" He is still the same old Aubrey and his fitness levels are at the same level as the other players. Wihh the likes of Bhasera's age catching up to him, Ngoma might just be what Supersport need going forward. The way he is training at the club, he is likely to get a contract there, " explained the source.
The 32 years old Hamanskraal born player is a well experienced player, having been in the books of University of Pretoria, Mpumalanga Black Aces, Orlando Pirates and Cape Town City in his PSL career that began back in 2008.
With Matsatsantsa seemingly going to lose Teboho Mokoena To Mamelodi Sundowns, they could do with a presence of someone of Ngoma's credentials, for free even.
Time will tell whether Matsatsantsa will decide on giving the player a chance or whether they will be passing on the opportunity to sign him.
