Bloemfontein has made a major decision on former Orlando Pirates star Ndumiso Mabena.
Mabena has become one of Celtic's key players over the years since his arrival from Platinum Stars in 2017.
The 33 year old is ranks among the Premiere Soccer League leading attackers.
Mabena has registered a total of 25 goals and 15 assist in 107 appearances for Siwelele across all competitions.
The player's contract with the club was set to expire next season.
However Celtic decided to extend his stay with two more years which will keep the player in the club beyond next year.
"Celtic is delighted to announce that Ndumiso Mabena has extended his stay at the club until June 2024," reads the club's statement.
The financial woes of the club raised many concerns about the player's future and some reports were doubting that the player will be offered a contract extension by the club.
Mabena becomes a second player at Celtic to sign a long term contract this month after Jackson Mabokgwane also signed a contract extension last week.
