Newly signed Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder has finally chose his jersey number that he will wear at the club ahead of the new season.
Bongani Zungu joined Mamelodi Sundowns last week and was announced by the club on weekend when the club hosted Kaizer Chiefs Football Club.
The midfielder re-joined the club as a free-agent after deciding against signing a new contract with the French side, Ameins SC.
When Bongani Zungu was speaking to the media, he stated that they decided that the jersey number eight would be best for him.
They thought it would be great for him because it was previously worn by the club legend. Zungu also stated that they played together before leaving the club few years ago.
Bongani Zungu believes Hlompho Kekana would be happy that his will takeover in the iconic jersey.
