Florentino Perez could be making a huge mistake with his latest update on Kylian Mbappe's transfer

Real Madrid's president, Florentino Perez, has told his players that Kylian Mbappe will not be joining the team this summer. Mbappe is a forward for Paris Saint-Germain. This claim came from a Spanish football expert named Guillem Balague. He said that Perez told the Real Madrid players what was going on in the locker room after Friday's goalless draw with Real Betis.

This comes after a week of different stories about what would happen to Mbappe. The end of the season is when Mbappe's current contract with PSG is set to end. The 23-year-old has been linked to Real Madrid, but he hasn't signed a new deal with the French Ligue 1 champions yet.

I think Florentino Perez might be making a mistake if he doesn't bring Kylian Mbappe to Madrid this summer. The player's mind seems to be made up because he hasn't signed a new contract with Paris Saint-Germain, not even the offer to become a player-sporting director.

Real Madrid needs to improve their offense because Karim Benzema is getting too old for them to count on him. Mbappe seems to be both Madrid's present and its future. Mbappe has said many times in the past that he wants to play for Real Madrid, so Perez should bring him in now.

Several Madrid players, including Eden Hazard, Gareth Bale, and Mariano Daz, could leave at the end of the season. The club might need to find a new player. Kylian Mbappe seems to be the best replacement for these players because he can play in any position in the front three.

Again, younger players like Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo might not be reliable enough to win every game for Madrid. For example, Benzema didn't score in the game against Real Betis on Friday, and these two young stars didn't help him or score themselves. Mbappe might be just what the team needs for some tough games.
