Twelve Kaizer Chiefs players to leave the club?

Bernard Parker, who served the club for eleven years and left as the organization's all-time leading scorer during the PSL era with 62 goals, was the most notable departure.

Despite having a good year last year, scoring five goals in 26 games while playing in midfield, Parker's contract was not renewed.

His release was controversial, but it was influenced by the fact that he was carrying a large package to the club and the age aspect.

Behind Parker was Leonardo Castro, an accomplished attacker whose departure became clear as early as the season's start due to his injury worries.

Another high earner for the team, he left after four and a half years in which he failed to win a game and failed to score in 13 contests the previous season.

The Colombian would depart, as was written on the wall.

Samir Nurkovic, a Serbian attacker who struggled with injuries and managed just one goal last season, was already slated to go when the club decided not to activate the option on his contract at the predetermined time.

On May 12, after receiving a package similar to what he was receiving from Chiefs, he then signed for Royal AM.
