Kaizer Chiefs fans were taken aback when they learned that ticket prices for next weekend's encounter against SuperSport United had been raised.
On Saturday, April 16th, at 19:30 a.m., the two teams will compete for three points at the FNB Stadium.
This will be the first time in over two years that the Soweto giants will play in front of their home fans.
However, while their fans may be excited for the match, increased ticket prices may push them away (and prefer to follow the match on The South African website).
HOW MUCH WILL WATCHING KAIZER CHIEFS COST?
According to Computicket, the cheapest ticket for the Kaizer Chiefs versus SuperSport United match is R70, not the customary R40.
While some people consider it affordable, others believe the ticket costs are excessively costly for a game of this scale.
Previously, only Soweto derby matches sold for R80 for general admission, and fans are outraged with the Amakhosi's decision to raise general admission ticket costs by a staggering 75%.
