Orlando Pirates expected to make a decision on Happy Jele

Orlando Pirates supporters will be thrilled to learn of what might be the outcome of their club Captain (Happy Jele), as his links with the club are suddenly activated once again as there are reports that indicate that the Soweto giants are still considering options to whether retain the services of the veteran defender it to let him go at the end of his contract with the club, but that is yet to be determined by the club management but as for Happy Jele it's unlikely that he would retire as a 35 year old as he believes that he can still offer something in the field of play.

The South African football universe will remember that Happy Jele is the most capped player of all time for Orlando Pirates and the club is expected to be very careful on their decision. The 35 year old defender started the current campaign with a challenge as he sustained an injury which relegated him to the stands, coach Ncikazi and David's had to use alternatives for the centre back positions, but the good news is that he has returned to the field of play and he is ready to play as we have seen him captaining the Warriors at the DStv Compact Cup.

In this off season tournament Jele was praised by pundits and the fans for his impressive performance at the DStv Compact Cup, and the faithful Orlando Pirates supporters were also hoping to see the same results materializing for the Sea Robbers. This season 35 year old has only managed to make 12 appearances for the Buccaneers in all competitions.

Even if Orlando Pirates may decide to offload him as soon as his contract comes to an end, should that happen the South African football universe must expect to see other Premier Soccer League teams offering him options to join their ranks because his experience is what might just help them in the league campaign.
