Cele has one more year left on his contract with Polish side Radomiak.
The Glamour Boys tried to lure the player to Naturena with an offer of about R1.6 million in June, but the club and player are believed to not be keen on separating just yet.
The 25-year-old midfielder has returned and already started the new season with Radomiak.
Looking forward, the former KZN Academy player has one more year left on his deal with the Polish side, who have an option to extend for another campaign, and it’s understood that the Soweto giants are prepared to wait until the end of the season to see what the club decides on Cele, as the reality hits home that their chances of getting the midfielder in the current transfer window are slim.
Cele, a former junior international, is understood to be looking to make a big move in Europe in the future but has not completely ruled out a return to South Africa.
