Broos reveals reasons for early Mabasa sub

Broos admitted after the final whistle that it was a tough decision to take but one that was necessary.

"I know it's a little bit disappointing for Tshegofatso," Broos said post-match. "But he had difficulties."It was better for us that we made a changeand I explained the reasons to him.

"We rehearsed this in training this week but I don't think he really understood what we asked of him."Therefore we had to substitute him after half an hour.

Broos also detailed the impact that a late enforced change to his starting line-up had after an injury to Vincent Pule.

No, he is against Pirates for denying him entry into the stadium, he takes it out on players. Where have you ever heard a coach saying a player doesn't understand tactics?

What did he see when he chose to field him ahead of other strikers? Didn't he see him at training that he didn't understand what's required of him? This coach is overrated, Morena Ramorebuli and Helman Mkhalele laid a foundation for him. We will see him as time goes on.

Mosala Mosala stop being emotional man. You are too old. It’s not the first time a player is substituted in the first half. Grow up. Umdala.

Mosala Mosala do you think if he noticed him in training sessions he would still risk putting him in starting line up? Then what a waste of substitution.

Thando Lubuzo kaloku nawe umdala mhlekazi, I don't have a problem with the substitution, my problem is his utterances, saying the player didn't understand tactics.
