Mamelodi Sundowns co-coach Rulani Mokoena was explained why the club's new signing Surprise Ralani is a right signing for the club despite questions about his age.
The Brazilians have confirmed two new signings so far this year that include Ralani and Teboho Mokoena from Supersport United.
The club is expected to announce more signings in the coming days including a Bolivian striker Erwin Saavedra.
Speaking to the club's media, Mokoena has deeply explained why Ralani was recruited by the club.
Mokoena admitted that the player's recruitment by Downs brings a lot of questions regarding his age.
"But in football, probably the most important thing in recruitment is always tried to bring the right player," he said.
Mokoena further explained that a right player is not between a certain age.
He said the right players sometimes are the needs of the club.
Ralani played a key role in Cape Town City over the past few seasons he spent with the Cape Town based side.
The player will be looking to emulate his fine form from the Citizens to the Brazilians and help the club to win the league title this season.
His experience will also come in handy when the club compete in the CAF champions League group stages.
