Orlando Pirates fans will never forget last month when one of their best players Thembinkosi Lorch was rumoured to have handed in a transfer request as an unammed club from Belgium supposedly made enquires about him.
The 27-year-old has always dreamed of one day pursuing his career abroad and when he performed at his optimum level during the 2018/2019 season which earned him The Absa Premiership Player of the year accolate, a number of European clubs showed interest in him but none of those moves managed to materialise.
Thus caused the star player's performances to drop the following season as it was rumoured that the failed overseas move seemed to have haunted him but he did however pick up his form towards the end of the season.
With the unammed club rumoured to have shown interest in the Bafana Bafana international it was highly expected that he'd snatch that opportunity with both hands but his agent has denied those rumours about the player leaving the club.
Jazzman Mahlakgane who is Thembinkosi Lorch's agent says no European club has enquired about his services yet and he did not hand in any transfer request. He also said the player is happy to stay at the club and is currently focused on getting back to the field.
