Safa President wants to end the war of words between the PSL coaches and the national team coach wich is really getting out of hand. The football governing body has called an urgent meeting with the PSL to try and resolve the tension and find solution.
"Bafana" team has been doing great so far. However Broos has lashed out a number of times directing his frustration at both the PSL coaches and players for their attitude towards the national team. This has made him an unpopular figure amongst certain individual in league.
This public spat have not gone down well with the Jordan. He will be meeting with Dr Irvin Khoza to find a solution to the ongoing beef between individuals who are supposed to be supporting each other instead of fighting.
We are going to deal with this tension once and for all. I have brought this to the attention of Dr Irvin Khoza. He confirmed that we will meet next week said Jordan.
It is very crucial that we support each other. We want a good relationship between the national team and the PSL if there is no tension that will also benefit "Bafana" going forward he said.
It all started when Broos was denied entry into the stadium to assess the performance of players(Sundowns vs Pirates fixture).
Jordan wants issues and tension to be quickly attended to in a professional manner.
The tension is not good for "Bafana" . It can potentially disturb the positive mood that the players are experiencing at the moment.
The national team has jumped from position number 73 to 66 in the latest FIFA rankings. Jordan has edged everyone to throw their weight behind the national team. He believes everyone needs to put their differences aside for the sake of the national team.
