As head coach of the South African national team, Hugo Broos made it clear that Evidence Makgopa should look for a new club.

When asked whether he was happy or content with the Bafana Bafana's success, Hugo Broos revealed to Kick Off Magazine that he was not.
As a result, the head coach believes that Hugo Broos is not the best person to teach Evidence Makgopa how to run in the field and how to position himself when he needs to score.
Broos believes that the Bakgaga ko Mphahlele side has a responsibility to teach him everything.

As a result, the coach claims, the player will "collapse" if he isn't called up to the national squad.
It is also hoped that Evidence Makgopo would be able to secure another top-flight team, as Baroka were relegated from Dstv Premiership.
Broos is convinced that if he competes in the Glad Africa Championship, he will be unable to consider Makgopa for selection.
