Mamelodi Sundowns Saying Goodbye To Another Player

Mamelodi Sundowns may release one of their players in the coming weeks.

Bangaly Soumahoro, a big Ivorian defender, spent another season at Chloorkop as a periphery player, scarcely appearing in the team's great season, which saw them win the Premiership for the fourth time in a row.

The 29-year-old only made six appearances for the champs in all competitions last season, totaling 116 minutes on the pitch. He has made three more appearances for the club than he did in the previous season. He's a bit-part player, and all indications are that he'll be leaving the club soon.

Soumahoro's current contract with Sundowns has one year left on it, although he is unlikely to stay with the club for the remainder of it.

The massive defender could stay in the PSL, though it's unknown whether any clubs are interested in his services at this time.

Sundowns have parted ways with midfielder and CAF Champions League winner Tiyani Mabunda, who has received an offer for his services, as previously reported by the Siya team.

Tebogo Langerman, a veteran left-back who also won the Champions League with Sundowns in 2016, is another player who could be on his way out of Chloorkop, with Aubrey Modiba and Lyle Lakay vying for playing time.
