Just like any other job, footballers do get time off to rest, release on the pitch stress and do what the love most outside of the football world. Most times when soccer players are not working, they are either spending time with their families and friends or having a good time partying or chilling.
While other South African Premier Soccer League players are out and about having the times of their lives; and splashing their money on expensive clothes and cars; Kaizer Chiefs defender Kgotso Moleko continue to pursue his love for farming. When there is no training activities going on at the Naturena camp, the 31 year old makes sure that he visits his farm; whichbis situated in the Free State Province.
That being said, Moleko recently took to his Instagram account where he uploaded images of sheep loaded onto the back of a bakkie where he said, “Sold, congrats to ntate Jonas (botshabelo)”.
Instead of flashing around and living the glamorous life, the Bloemfontein born defender is making sure that he secures the bag with his farming business. His attempt to acquire multiple sources of income will ensure him a better life; whennhe retired after his playing days.
While his peers are busy buying liabilities and all the goodies of life, Moleko is building a legacy and buying assets for himself. He owns a farm with sheep, cattle and also produce vegetables.
Moleko is also seen as an inspiration among many fans and even his peers, as he ensures that he secures the bag with various sources of income beyond his playing days
Last week, Moleko took a walk with some of the sheep that he showcased on social media, with nearly 60 counted in one video.
