Siphesihle Maduna opened the scoring for Usuthu. Velemseni Ndwandwe equalized for the visitors. Both sides went into halftime break levelled at 1-1 scoreline. Nduduzo Sibiya netted a winner for Abafana Bes'thende through the penalty spot on the second half. With this match result, Brandon Truter registered his first defeat as the head coach of AmaZulu FC.

Thembinkosi Lorch opened the scoring for the hosts. Kwame Peprah doubled the lead for the Buccaneers. The home side went into the halftime break leading by 2-0. Deon Hotto tripled the lead for the hosts. Friday Samu reduced the deficit for the Team of Choice. Kabelo Dlamini added the fourth goal and also sealed the win for the Buccaneers. With this match result, Orlando Pirates ended their two matches winless run in all competitions.
