Kaizer Chiefs initial gathering match in this current season's CAF Champions Association against Wydad Athletic in Morocco won't proceed as planned this end of the week.

Because of visa issues, Amakhosi weren't allowed to travel toward the North Africa country for their match which was expected to be played on Saturday, 13 February.

SAFA gave an assertion on Thursday (11 February2021), saying:

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has affirmed that the CAF Champions Class coordinate between Wydad Athletic Club from Casablanca in Morocco versus Kaizer Chiefs, won't be played as booked on Saturday, 13 February 2021.

In a joke correspondence shipped off SAFA the previous evening, CAF through its Opposition Division supervisor, Ahmed Salem said ''CAF will convey the refreshed choice in due time.''

Chiefs were planned to have left for Casablanca in Wednesday night however the group was denied passage visas to Morocco, driving them to drop the outing to North Africa.
