Tears Of Celebration In Kaizer Chiefs Camp As Their Top Star Finally Makes His Return

The Itumeleng Khune is returning for the first time since August, but not in Kaizer Chiefs colors! The Amakhosi current goalkeeper is struggling to get game time this season after falling out of Naturena's ranks. This was due to insufficient game time, but we can all agree that Itumeleng Khune is not getting any younger and age is telling on his performance.

Although he might never get to play for Kaizer Chiefs again, am sure fans and loyal supporters will be overjoyed to see Itumeleng Khune do exploits in another team and get the game time he deserves as a top player.

Stuart Baxter has opted to replace Nigeria goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi while Bruce Bwuma and Brandon Peterson are preferred as replacements. .Ituemeleng Khune's only appearance this season came in Kaizer Chiefs' opening game against Mamelodi Sundowns.

The Glamor Boys were eliminated from the MTN8 tournament in the first round thanks to a dramatic penalty shootout defeat after a 2-2 draw.
