Itumeleng Khune to leve Kaizer Chiefs?

Khune has only played once this season, against Mamelodi Sundowns in the MTN8 opening in August last year, and has only sat on the bench twice since then.

With only one game remaining in the season, this could be his worst season in the PSL's 15-year history.

"Khune is the appropriate age to play goalie, and I don't think he's qualified to coach goalkeepers," said retired goalkeeper Aime Kitenge.

It's been suggested that Khune take over as goalie coach from Lee Baxter next season.

"Khune has at least another two years of playing left in him." Even though Gianluigi Buffon is still playing at 44, Khune is 34, and some believe he should retire.

"Khune is still the best goalkeeper I've ever seen, and all he needs to do now is play.

"Khune only needs an opportunity to play, and I would advise him to join Royal AM or maybe AmaZulu. I understand that he adores Kaizer Chiefs because they are the only team he has ever represented, but I believe Khune should join Royal AM.

"John Maduka will not have an issue with Khune's experience, and he will help the club expand its brand in the way they want. Khune can follow in the footsteps of Brian Baloyi, who transferred from Chiefs to Mamelodi Sundowns.

"In this game, his leadership and experience are still required.
