Our sources have confirmed that Lazarus Kambole won't be staying at Kaizer Chiefs for the upcoming season. Amakhosi have opted against renewing the attacker's contract at the club. His contract is due to expire come end of the season.

Lazarus Kambole had a dissapointing spell at Kaizer Chiefs having came with a good reputation for his performances in the CAF champions league. Kambole promised flames when arriving to the PSL but has been shooting blanks ever since.

The Zambian promised a lot of goals but has delivered the complete opposite having registered a single goal for Amakhosi. He can't complain about lack of chances considering the game time he had received at the club.

It seems as if Kaizer Chiefs had ran out of patience for Kambole and feel the best thing to do is to part ways with him so that he can try his luck elsewhere. Kambole may go back to Zambia to possibly find a club in the Zambian top division.
