Premier League

Angelo Agrizzi said he is no longer a racist. Apparently that is all it takes fellow South Africans.

"I am no longer a racist", that is what Angelo Agrizzi said at the commission of enquiry. Can it really be that simple. Should we just take his word for it. Can people just flip a switch and then they are no longer racist.

Racism is the highest form of crime against humanity that has contaminated good relationships between races. Black people have been at the receiving end of this atrocious behaviour.

At the beginning of many matches in Premier leagues and also currently at Euro 2020, football players take a knee for a couple of seconds pledging their solidarity to the fight against racism in their sport.

But all that Angelo Agrizzi said was, "I am no longer a racist ". When or how exactly did he arrive at this monumental decision. I think this is a question worth asking.

Angelo Agrizzi is at the commission of enquiry responding to question about his involvement in state capture. He is one of many that helped the Gupta family to loot state resources for personal gain. The focus shifted somewhat when he was asked about being a racist, to which he responded yes, drawing a lot of criticism.
