Kaizer Chiefs Fans Give Name To Zwane’s Football

Amakhosi ajabulile? A new name has been given to Arthur Zwane's Kaizer Chiefs team. It is known as 'Zwane Ball' or 'Mangethe Ball,' after the Zulu clan name of the coach.

The South African website stated on Tuesday night that the Glamour Boys won their first game of the season, with Zwane making two lineup adjustments.

Dillan Solomons replaced Njabulo Blom at right back, while Lehlogonolo Matlou made his debut in the middle of the field in lieu of Cole Alexander.

Ashley Du Preez, Keagan Dolly, and Mduduzi Shabalala scored goals at the FNB Stadium to secure a 3-0 victory.

A Man of the Match performance has made Maart the man of the hour.

The result followed a shocking 1-0 loss to Royal AM previous weekend, but the Amakhosi crowd was thrilled to see that their squad was superior that evening.

Fans celebrate 'Zwane Ball' or 'Mangethe Ball'

Meanwhile, on Twitter, the club's ecstatic supporters have formed a thread praising the team's new confidence and vigour.

Saturday at 15:00, the Glamour Boys will travel to Loftus to face Mamelodi Sundowns, the defending champions. The outcome may humble or intoxicate the fan base.
