Pitso Mosimane reportedly wanted by Arabian teams

The situation concerning Pitso Mosimane and Al Ahly has attracted attention from a number of football teams who would like to have the services of the 57 year old South African mentor as they have seen his capabilities while he was with Al Ahly. As it stands Pitso Mosimane's future with the Egyptian giants is still uncertain as it has been reported by Soccer Laduma, that Al Ahly will be considering Mosimane's contract after the FIFA Club World Cup which will be hosted at the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

As Al Ahly are slow and seemingly doubtful about retaining the services of Mr Mosimane, latest reports have indicated that one of the biggest teams in the UAE Gulf Pro League have been closely monitoring the current situation between Mosimane and the reds as he would be out of contract at the end of October this year.

In previous days Mosimane has been linked with a coaching role to the Senegalese senior men's national team, but that is yet to be confirmed by the Senegal Football Association and the representatives of Pitso Mosimane. The UAE Gulf Pro League team that has developed interest in Mosimane is Al Rayan, according to reports from the Arabian region, they suggested that they are looking into axing Laurent Blanc who is the current head coach of the club, and Pitso Mosimane is reported to be the best suited candidate to replace him.

Laurent Blanc is no small time coach, he is well travelled and those who follow the French football will remember that he was once the head coach of Paris Saint Germain (PSG), however as Al Rayyan coach it seems like the French international coach is having challenges to adjust to the level of competition in the UAE Gulf Pro League, with Pitso Mosimane being considered as the best suited coach to replace him.
