Cult Hero's Liverpool Exit Confirmed

A Liverpool cult hero is "definitely leaving"

One of the most beloved players in the history of Liverpool will almost certainly part ways with the 2021/22 FA Cup champions at the conclusion of the current season, and he already has a new club in mind.

According to Fabrizio Romano, an expert on player transfers, Divock Origi is expected to sign with Serie A leaders AC Milan after becoming a free agent in June and leaving Anfield.

Despite the fact that the 27-year-old has never been a regular starter for Jurgen Klopp in England, the Merseyside giants consider him to be a cult hero due to the fact that he has a knack for scoring important goals.

The Belgium international moved to Liverpool from French club Lille in 2014, and since then, he has scored 41 goals for the Reds in 175 matches across all competitions. His goals have come in a variety of different competitions, including the Premier League, the FA Cup, and the Europa League.

Origi has already won six trophies during his time with the Merseysiders, and he has a chance to leave with two more if Klopp's team achieves an unprecedented quadruple by winning the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League before the month is over.
