Williams move to Orlando Pirates

Ronwen Williams has been a good goalkeeper for Supersport United for a long time now. The player has now turned 30 years old. Despite being good he has not won as many trophies players at the top like him should have. The goalkeeper over the years has been linked with a move to Orlando Pirates, Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns. Nothing materialized for him during that time. Now there are talks again that he should be joining a big club. At the moment a club that could use a top goalkeeper is Orlando Pirates. The Sea robbers have had a big problem in their goalkeeper department. His contract with Supersport United is expiring at the end of next season.

Former goalkeeper Aime Kitenge told that "What is he still doing at SuperSport United? I mean what is there for him to stay for at SuperSport? At SuperSport he has no challenge and will not grow beyond where he is now which is dangerous in football considering that he is also a national team goalkeeper standing as captain. It is time for him to leave because he has been there long enough, and SuperSport is no longer playing to win the league. He has gained all the experience that he needs and now is the time to go and face new challenges at teams like Pirates and Chiefs. With the kind of profile that he has now, he should be at Pirates or Chiefs plus he is no longer a kid." Do you see Ronwen Williams joining either Kaizer Chiefs or Orlando Pirates?
