Al Ahly's missed chances against Raja Casablanca.

Al Ahly may have been able to knock Raja Casablanca out of the CAF Champions League quarter-final but could have done it with a better scoreline than the second leg draw they played.

The Egyptians couldn't capitalize on two crucial opportunities presented to themselves and thus, had to settle for the 1-1 draw and advance through a 3-2 aggregate win. The first crucial opportunity that was missed was saved penalty from Ali Maaloul in the 17th minute after Raja Casablanca had taken an early lead through Ngoma.

The Red Devils however found an equalizer later on through a Mohamed Abdelmonem headed corner to silence the Casablanca crowd.

The other crucial opportunity missed by Al Ahly was a one on one situation after Bafana Bafana striker was put clean on goal with a clinical through ball but he was unable to finish the move to give his side the lead.

Pitso Mosimane's team held on to that 1-1 away draw and booked a spot in the semi-finals.
