Another football weekend is here to entertain all football fans in South Africa. The midweek matches were highly entertaining as some unexpected results came through.
This week will entertain us with some big matches in South Africa Premier League as Kaizer Chiefs will welcome Mamelodi Sundowns in FNB stadium. On Tuesday, Chiefs got their first 3 point of the season under Arthur Zwane with an emphatic 3-0 over Maritzburg United. Meanwhile, Mamelodi Sundowns came short of themselves as they lost to TS Galaxy with 1 goal to nil in their own stadium.
However, the two giants will face off tomorrow at 2:00 pm as the battle for the title is already taking shape. Statically, it have always been a tight and thrilling match whenever they meet. It could be regarded as one of the biggest game in the history of PSL as thousands of fans leave their work behind to watch it live.
However, after watching the teams play this week, I have come in conclusion that Kaizer Chiefs will get the better result of the match because of these two reasons:
1. Kaizer Chiefs has a new tactical coach:
The addition of Zwane in the team will definitely give them a new shape and tactics. Meanwhile, Sundowns hasn't changed their head coach and Chiefs have been familiar with his tactics.
However, Zwane's new tactics will be a hard one for their opponent to study, thereby giving them upper hand to win tomorrow.
2. The club's form:
Currently, watching Kaizer Chiefs play is a whole joy as their free flowing attacking football is paying off. The team is currently on fire and could come over on top tomorrow. Meanwhile, Mamelodi Sundowns seems to be poor in performance this season.
Their play in the first match of the season wasn't impressive even though they won. Against TS Galaxy, their weakness was exposed and they couldn't score a goal.
With this few points of mine, I believe that you have been convinced that Kaizer Chiefs could win Mamelodi Sundowns tomorrow at FNB stadium. If you think otherwise with some good reason, kindly drop it in the comment.
