The wings of change are about to roll at Naturena after two years in the doldrums.
Kaizer Chiefs two year transfer ban is about to reach it's climax and the Gavin Hunt coached outfit is already ringing in changes.
Amakhosi were unable to make any new signings after world football governing body FIFA imposed the transfer ban.
Gordinho is currently with Danish outfit Viborg FF and his contract with the club expires in June 2022.
But there have indications from Denmark that his contract could be terminated at the end of the current season as he has dismally failed to deliver.
“Nothing’s concrete yet, but he could probably be back at the end of this season, or even earlier. He has been putting out his feelers to find out if any team in South Africa would be interested. There is a possibility that he could end up at a Durban-based team which I cannot reveal at the moment because they’ve not indicated if they are interested or not,” said a source.
The source added that Chiefs are very keen on retaining him as the shoes he left are proving too big to fill in.
They are following the developments with keen interest.
