Pirates moving forward without Olisa Ndah?

Pirates moving forward without Olisa Ndah?

Date: 05/04/2022

Orlando Pirates has some quality players in their squad, and one player standing out in their defence this season is their Nigerian defender Olisa Ndah.

The Nigerian defender who signed for the club from Akwa United is one of the best players in the squad this season, and it's only his maiden season with the club. Kwame Peprah is also in his maiden season and it looks like the new additions is doing much better than the longer serving players at the club.

Unfortunately for Olisa Ndah, despite how good of a defender he is for Orlando Pirates, the club is set to move forward without him as they have no other choice but to do so.

Orlando Pirates ended their last match in the CAF Confederations Cup in a 0-0 draw and their now moving in from that as they qualified for the quarter-finals, to continue with their stint in the DStv Premiership with Sekhukhune United next on their schedule.

Olisa Ndah picked up his fourth yellow card which means he's suspended and will not be playing soon against Sekhukhune United but the club will have to move forward without their star defender, as they will aim for the second place spot which is the race between them, Kaizer Chiefs and Royal AM.

Orlando Pirates really needs that second place as they've been in the CAF Confederations Cup for consecutive seasons and second place will ensure CAF Champions League for a change of scenery.

With Olisa Ndah absent the club has defenders to place in the position he's leaving vacant, but the question is will they be good as him to stop the club from conceding against Sekhukhune United.

While the club is set to move on without him, he should be available again soon for selection.
