Mosimane not ready to ‘downgrade’ in his next job after coaching Al Ahly and Mamelodi Sundowns

The South African strategist is sitting tight for the ideal time prior to going with a choice and has not precluded a public group task

Previous Al Ahly and Mamelodi Sundowns mentor Pitso Mosimane isn't in that frame of mind to take up a task until he tracks down the 'right' one.

Mosimane left Al Ahly in June following two years that yielded five prizes and in the wake of training Africa's best club, the 58-year-old isn't prepared to downsize.

"We generally have offers, the hold was for me to take a tad of a break," expressed Mosimane as cited by SABC.

"To be straightforward I really wanted that break. 21 years, I've generally spoken about the vacation that I never took, presently I had my opportunity and I don't have the foggiest idea, I feel better, I feel glad to be home. The feet will constantly tingle, yet in addition there should be a right task," he added.

"You simply don't leave the group that you realize you will go to the Champions League last with and you've done it multiple times in succession, that will take you to the World Cup, that will have you to blend in with the Bayern [Munich] and to blend in with the Chelsea what not, it's another level."

"You don't simply leave that group and abruptly you go elsewhere - and afterward what's in for you? You understand what I'm attempting to say?"

Jingles, as he is broadly known, has not precluded assuming control over a public group since it will offer him a chance at Africa Cup of Nations brilliance.

"Indeed, offers are there, yet it should be the right project and yah I'm open even public groups what difference would it make? Since perhaps the main thing I haven't won on the landmass is the Afcon. How about we do the Afcon perhaps," said Mosimane.

There have been calls for Mosimane to assume control over the South Africa public group work.

"I don't trust that being with a public group, the football affiliation or adding to the football of the country then you should be a Bafana mentor, I mean it's essential for that yet it's not the entire thing," he added.

Mosimane came out on top for five championships with Al Ahly, including two straight Caf Champions League crowns, having gone along with them from Sundowns where he drove them to 11 prizes, among them five PSL crowns, in an eight-year spell.
