Another ex-Pirates veteran on his way out at Stellies?

Stellenbosch will be missing Nathan Sinkala, Sibusiso Mthethwa, Granwald Scott, Robyn Johannes, Waseem Isaacs, and Stanley Dimgba after their best-ever season in top-flight football, while Zitha Kwinika will join Kaizer Chiefs.

Allan 'JJ' Robertson left the club earlier this year, while Tanzanian Allan Msengi joined Cape Town Spurs but was unable to play owing to paperwork concerns.

Marc Van Heerden, who has been with the club for three years, is also on his way out, according to this website.

The contract option for the 34-year-old left-back will not be exercised.

Despite the fact that he played in over half of the club's games last season, this is the case.

In the past, Van Heerden has also played for AmaZulu, Chippa United, and Pirates. This publication has also learned that Juan Carlos Ortiz Hernandez will have his ACL repaired.

The Venezuelan isn't likely to return to action until next year.

He joined at the start of the season and appeared in 11 games, scoring twice and assisting once.

Meanwhile, following his recovery from a medical treatment hiatus, goalkeeper Keegan Pool will return to the team next season.
