Pirates Handed Massive Lorch Boost

Orlando Pirates have gotten a gigantic lift following the arrival of two critical figures from injury.

The Buccaneers have affirmed that drawn out non-attendants Thembinkosi Lorch and Happy Jele could both be in conflict for Wednesday's match against AmaZulu in the wake of getting back to preparing.

"...The Buccaneers have made progress on the injury front with any semblance of Happy Jele and Thembinkosi Lorch all having continued preparing after extensive cutbacks," the club uncovered in their pre-match notes.

Lorch vitally went through a medical procedure following what was depicted as a 'freak mishap' in September and is yet to play in an authority match for Pirates this season.

Club skipper, Jele, in the interim, has been missing since October when he got a thump during the Buccaneers' conflict against Royal AM at Orlando Stadium.

While it is not yet clear whether the pair will be adequately fit to highlight against Usuthu, their return comes as an enormous lift for Pirates in front of an occupied and testing Christmas plan.

The Soweto goliaths face TS Galaxy on Saturday prior to taking on rivals Swallows FC and defending champs Mamelodi Sundowns over the course of about six days from that point onward, and they balance the year against Marumo Gallants and AmaZulu.
