An intensive morning at Naturena as it was reported the team failed to come back to winning ways

Kaizer Chiefs couldn't get back on the winning ways subsequent to playing to a goalless draw against Marumo Gallants.

Amakhosi made four changes from the misfortune to Royal AM, with goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi, Reeve Frosler, Nkosingiphile Ngcobo and Lebogang Manyama all coming into the side.

The Glamour boys hoped to settle first after the initial loss, yet Gallants almost drew the first blood through Katlego Otladisa's attempt however Akpeyi was up to the task.

Gallants dispatched one more alarm on the half-hour mark when Celimpilo Ngema's incredible shot from the right-wide demonstrated intense for Akpeyi, who got bailed by a cautious freedom.

The Amakhosi's initially shot out of resentment came seven minutes to halftime after Cole Alexander got a free ball from a corner-kick to lash over the top from outside the space.

Gallants started to drop profound and welcomed the Amakhosi to their first significant danger ten minutes in the second half from a free-kick by Khama Billiat, yet goalkeeper Washington Arubi gathered.

It deteriorated for the Amakhosi mostly in the match when Sifiso Hlanti acquired a subsequent yellow and ensuing red card for a rash test on Otladisa which prompted a free-kick.

From the free-kick, Gallants were denied the lead as Akpeyi created a staggering point-clear save to repel a looking header from Thabo Mnyamane.
