The Buccaneers will be up against a struggling AmaZulu side, however there will be all to play for in the field. Benni McCarthy has gained the reputation of upsetting his former team and this time will be no different. Orlando Pirates will have the confidence boost that comes with the return of key players to the matchday squad.
Thembinkosi Lorch was named in the matchday squad for the game against Usuthu and he looks set to return to action. The star is yet to play for the Buccaneers this season in an official game. The last time he was on the field was during the Carling Cup against Kaizer Chiefs. He was reported to have picked up a freak injury and was ruled out for the rest of the year.
Lorch will start on the bench, however he will have the opportunity to get his first taste of action in the 2021/22 season. Fans were excited after learning that Nyoso is fully fit and ready to return to action. This will give the technical team more options going forward and hopefully spin positive results and end the year on a high.
It will be interesting to see what role Thembinkosi Lorch will play in the game against Usuthu as he has been been out of action for months.
