Marcus Rashford Broke A 56 Year-Old Record Against Granada

Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford is maturing each season and this season, he seems like this can be his best season so far with Manchester United. He showed great character and growth against Granada in the Semi final of the Europa League by playing despite not having fully recovered from injury.

Something good came out of that match. Three things to be precise. He became the first English player to score 8 goals for Manchester in a European competition in a single season for Manchester United [excluding qualifiers] since club legend Bobby Charlton in the 1964/65 season.

The Red Devils have had players scoring 8 or more goals in European competition but they were not English.

Rashford also became the 4th Premier League Player to reach 20 goals in all competitions this season after Harry Kane, teammate Bruno Fernandes and Mo Salah.

The 23 year old scored has scored 20+ goals in all competition for the second consecutive season. He is coming in handy for United, and the fact that he is an academy graduate will make the Manchester United family proud.
