Benni McCarthy has put his hand up for the Bafana Squad job and so is Tinkler

Benni McCarthy has put his hand up for the Bafana Bafana job.

Benni McCarthy has put his hand up for the Bafana Bafana job. He has joined Eric Tinkler in expressing their interest in sitting on the hot seat. Bafana's all-time goalscorer is a favorite to replace Molefi Ntseki, who was fired after failing to qualify for the 2022 Afcon.

It was validated on Wednesday late at the SAFA department in Nasrec that Mr. Molefi Ntseki has been dumped from his position as national squad coach and that the technical committee of the NEC member Jack Maluleke, will starting a hunt and drawing up a list of potential candidates in the coming weeks.

Does this means that the South African squad will be a rumbling engine or just another fluke, or just the usual, all though these two used to be formidable players back in the days it is very hard to conclude that the performance of the squad would improve

Banana Bafana does have good enough players it only comes down to the mentality and the work rate which is an intrinsic effect and has nothing to do with the coaching staff

Mnguni told the Siya crew that what is happening at SAFA is not good for our football, things are getting worse every year because we are led by men who never played on a professional level the truth in this is also fundamental

Those who own or owned clubs must not sit at the top table of SAFA and dictate how Bafana Bafana should be managed
