Mamelodi Sundowns are about to complete the signing of defender Katlego Mohamme from NFD side the University of Pretoria. Mahamme who enjoyed a fruitful spell in the GladAfrica Championship in the books the University of Pretoria managed to register 21 appearances in the GladAfrica Championship and 2 appearances in the Nedbank Cup. The Bafana Bafana Under-23 star will be moving to Chloorkop should he and Mamelodi Sundowns reach personal terms.
It has been confirmed that the University of Pretoria and Mamelodi Sundowns have reached an agreement and it is up to the player and the club now to reach an agreement. Mahamme will be competing for position with the likes of Rushine De Reuck, Musa Lebusa, Ricardo Nascimendo and Mandela Onyango at Mamelodi Sundowns next season, should he sign for the Chloorkop based side.
Mamelodi Sundowns is always looking to strengthen their squad in order to compete in Africa and continue the domination of South African Football. Sundowns are also linked with Swallows F.C. defender Njabulo Ngcobo who is also said to be wanted by Kaizer Chiefs.
