Ahly Demand Replay Of League Game

Al Ahly SC have sent an authority solicitation to the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) and the association advisory group to demand a rematch of their Egyptian Premier League game against the National Bank of Ahly.

Pitso Mosimane's side dropped focuses for a fourth back to back game in the homegrown association this week with the 0-0 draw however there was contention encompassing once of the choices around a free-kick which the Red Devils the board accepts was an unfairly denied objective upon audit.

"Al Ahly SC sent an authority letter to the Egyptian Football Association and EPL Committee mentioning a rematch for our past association game against National Bank of Egypt SC because of the misstep of the match ref and the VAR which refused a legitimate objective making the group lose two significant focuses in their title race," the club articulation read.

"The club tried to call attention to in the letter that the misstep that both the match official and VAR committed goes against the guidelines which were sent by the International Football Association Board (IFAB) to all the football relationship all over the planet."

The Club of the Century are as of now third in the association, following association pioneers Zamalek by four but with three games close by over the defending champs, after their sensational 2-1 win over ENPPI on Saturday night.
