Benni McCarthy Still Thinks He is a Player: Tso Vilakazi

Tso Vilakazi had some words of advice for former "Bafana" striker Benni McCarthy. This comes after he had a series of incident fighting with either a player or a couch. Benni McCarthy has been having a Challenge in the touchline. He previously embarrassed Bullets player during Amazulu's CAF champions league game. By shouting and telling him to shut up while doing an interview.

He did it again when Amazulu met Supersport united on the league. A scuffle broke between KaitanoTembo and Benni.

Tso Vilakazi both him and coach Benni are still a young coach. He said as a coach you get taught that to be a good coach. You need to quickly release that you are no longer a player, certain things you need to behave differently toward them.

I believe Benni have not released that he is no longer a player. He is no longer that superstar who won't UEFA champions league in Europe.he is now a coach.

He is still behaving the same way he used behave when he was still playing.

Vilakazi believes Benni's action could rub off to the players if he is not careful. He needs to control his anger before the players start following on his footsteps.

Benni needs to accept that he is no longer a player. The spotlight need fall on the players not him. He needs to behave on the touchline.

I have always love Benni but I really doubt he will change in the future said Vilakazi.

Benni used to play with Tso Vilakazi in the national team back then. He was always defensive and feisty when he was a player.

According to Vilakazi he need to respect African culture. He is not abroad in Europe were "swearing" at an individual is normal.

Players here in South Africa won't treat "swearing" as a normal thing
