TTM coach to continue wearing military attire

Lucky Nelukau, head coach of Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila FC, has explained why he wore military garb during the Nedbank Cup match against SuperSport United on Friday.

TTM advanced to the Nedbank Cup semi-finals with a 3-2 victory over SuperSport on Friday in Limpopo.

Marumo Gallants will be their next opponent in the semi-finals of the Ke Yona Cup.

Nelukau stole the show with his camouflage suit on Friday against Matsatsantsa and has since pledged to continue wearing the military clothing for the duration of their Nedbank Cup campaign.

"As a tribute to our late brother Arnold Mudau, we plan to wear this outfit every single day.

KickOff spoke with Nelukau about the loss of his brother, buddy, and everything.

"He was also a member of the team's inner circle.

"He was involved in the team's formation. Recently, he was killed in a car crash.

"Every time we play, our ancestors tell us to wear it.

"Our forefathers have told us that we must pay homage to him. It's as if he's always right there with me. He was a good man who always tried to find a solution to a problem."

TTM is the lone GladAfrica Championship team left in the tournament.
