Despite being the visitors Chiefs did not visit back and let the home side be on the driving seat.

Both clubs headed to the game aiming for a second win of the current season in the DStv premiership after they both had a stuttering start to the season.

Both sides had chances to score in the first half but no team managed to score.

The game entered the halftime on a goalless draw.

Early minutes in the second half Luvuyo Memela opened the score line and put the home side in the lead inside the 48th minutes.

Amakhosi came behind for the most of the second half.

The club had chances to level matters but they were unfortunately in front of the goals.

On a game that was going in Amazulu's way Amakhosi received a penalty and Keagan Dolly made no mistakes and put the ball inside the net on the stroke of full time.

The game ended with 1-1 draw and both sides took a point each.

Amakhosi moved from the 13th position to 11th position after securing a point away.
