After much uncertainty regarding his immediate future, Ethiopian international Abubeker Nassir may sign with Mamelodi Sundowns in South Africa.

According to, Nassir has arrived in the country with the intention of signing a contract with Sundowns.

According to Brazilian sources, the Ethiopian wonder-kid landed in the country last night via OR Tambo Airport and swiftly snuck into a hotel in Johannesburg.

Nassir was supposed to report to Chloorkop for training today.

"Nassir, an Ethiopian player, is currently in South Africa. The insider stated, "He landed in the nation last night."

"He was scheduled to join Mamelodi Sundowns for training today," he continued.

A number of South African clubs have been linked with Abubeker Nassir, including Kaizer Chiefs, Supersport United, and Baroka FC.
