Another nightmare for Lebogang Manyama at Kaizer chiefs. It seems like there is a beef between Manyama and Gavin Hunt or Gavin Hunt and most of the senior players at Kaizer chiefs.

Lebogang Manyama has struggled to show the form that made him to win several individual awards for Kaizer chiefs last season. His wonderful display almost helped him to be considered amongst the ones who were short listered for player of the season for the 2019-20 season.

His contribution helped Kaizer chiefs to stay in the number one spot on the log until they lost the league to Sundowns in the last game of the season.

Manyama also scored a goal that helped Kaizer chiefs to beat Orlando Pirates twice last season. But the start of the new season has proven to be the worse start ever for Manyama since joining Kaizer chiefs 3 seasons ago.

The player has been in and out of the Kaizer chiefs squad. Sometimes coming in as a substitute and sometimes started the match and be substituted very early by Gavin hunt.

The player has lost his confidence and looks lost playing for Kaizer chiefs under Gavin hunt. In the last game against Orlando Pirates Manyama lost a golden opportunity that would have avoided a third loss for Kaizer chiefs against Amabhakabhaka.

In the first half Manyama received a cross in the box and failed to score what looked like an easy opportunity, and after the ball was saved the ball went straight back to him with the goal keeper down. Giving Manyama a chance to right his wrongs. Instead of scoring the attacking midfielder pushed his shot outside for a goal kick inside the 16 yard area.

His poor form led to the coach sacrificing him for younger and fresher players coming from the MDC challange, the likes of Ngcobo and Mashiane.

In the game against Amazulu Manyama started from the bench. The Kaizer chiefs starlet Mashiane received an injury after the game has only played 14 minutes. The player could not carry on with the game and was sacrificed for Manyama.

Manyama played his usual game for this season. The player did not show any hunger or whatsoever to help Kaizer chiefs to win the game. Kaizer chiefs then considered a goal before the end of the first half.

The start of the second half got many people talking about the coach's substitute of manyama in the 60th minutes after the player was brought in as a substitute in the first half. Him being substituted led to many people claiming that the player does not see eye to eye with the now Kaizer chiefs coach Gavin hunt (Twitter).

After the player was substituted he went straight to the dressing room, showing his disappointment and anger for the decision taken by the coach to substitute him after he only came in as a substitute in the first half.

The question everyone is asking themselves is. What motivated Gavin hunt to substitute Manyama like that?

Is there any beef between Manyama and Gavin Hunt?

Or it was just a tactical substitute for the coach after seeing that the player is not performing well. Kaizer chiefs went on to loose the game 2-1, pushing them out of the top 8 of the log.

Any comments nor suggestions regarding the discussion about Manyama and Gavin Hunt is welcomed
