Will Orlando Pirates change their coaching staff again? FInd out what is going on here.

To boost the club's season-long preparations, Pirates are anticipated to announce additional changes to their technical staff. Goalkeeper coach Sjoerd Woudenberg has since announced his departure from Pirates via his social media accounts, following the departures of Davids and performance analyst Darian Wilken earlier this month.

The Soweto giants are expected to elevate Sandilands to a new position as the club's goalie coach to honor his retirement as a professional footballer, according to information that has reached the Siya team.

The veteran goalkeeper's playing contract, which is slated to expire on June 30, was not renewed, the Buccaneers said earlier this week. However, the team did disclose that the 38-year-old has been in discussions for a different position with the team.

Will the Pirates change their coaching staff again?

The Pirates confirmed on the club's official website that Sandilands' contract, which expires on June 30, will not be renewed. However, the club is currently in discussions with management regarding another position at the club.

In what will be a new-look technical team for Bucs, it appears that the former Mamelodi Sundowns shot-stopper will likely take Woudenberg's post.

One of the prominent goalkeepers in Mzansi, Sandilands, recently attended the FIFA Goalkeeper Coaching Course in Johannesburg as part of his preparation for the new position.

Under Mandla Ncikazi and Davids, the Benoni-born star concluded the 2021/22 season without making a single appearance.

Ronwen Williams, a goalkeeper for Bafana Bafana and SuperSport United, is still a target for Bucs, as confirmed by reliable sources, according to the Siya crew. Williams is still strongly linked with a move to the club.
