There will be many changes at Kaizer Chiefs next season, some of which will be positive and some of which will be negative. It is not guaranteed that they will occur, but it is important to expect them because anything is possible and Amakhosi fans must expect changes, both good and bad.
The addition of more attacking players indicates that the club is pleased with its backline, particularly the center-back position, which allowed far too many goals last season. Since Solomons was acquired from Swallows FC, the club may play a flat three with only three defenders, which means Solomons and Frosler will play as wing-backs instead of left and right back, respectively.
Unfortunately for Kaizer Chiefs fans, their favorite players Nkosingiphile Ngcobo, Njabulo Blom, and Mashiane may see less game time as better players in their positions have been signed. This raises the stakes of the competition and based on their performances last season, there's no way they'll bench the new guys who are more talented and hungry for success and fame. The scariest part is that the club has stated that it is not yet finished signing players for this season, so the situation for the young Amakhosi players may worsen.
Because the club signed many good players, no excuses will be accepted from Arthur Zwane, and this may expose him. If he is able to win trophies with the team, it will demonstrate that he is a good manager; however, if he fails after the club has signed so many players to support him and his vision, he will be a total failure, and it will be difficult for the team to give inexperienced coaches a chance in the future.
Match attendance by fans
Fans may begin to attend Kaizer Chiefs matches if the team begins to win convincingly. They will fill the stadiums if they believe the team is strong and capable of defeating any opponent, but if they fail to win three consecutive games, they will be forced to play without fan support. Everything is dependent on the team's results and performance.
