Kaizer Chiefs former Zimbabwean player resurface at Swallows



Kaizer Chiefs former Zimbabwean player Ovidy Karuru has resurfaced in the DStv Premiership after being absent from football for half a season. Ovidy made way with Black Leopards in a surprise departure back in July last year and has been without game-time since as he wasn't associated with any football club.

The Zimbabwean player who last played for Black Leopards FC, has now resurfaced in the DStv Premiership with Moroka Swallows FC. According to reports making the news, Ovidy Karuru are set to sign a deal with the club as a deal is imminent after he's been training with the club for a few weeks now.

The former Chiefs player is with his former coach Dylan Kerr who last served with him at Black Leopards. The two are now reunited as Ovidy Karuru is as good as a Swallows player according to reports.

Ovidy Karuru since he last played football before he left Leopards in July, is still rusty and will need all the training he can to get into the perfect shape as he is believed to be on Swallows books soon.

Ovidy Karuru has PSL experience with Kaizer Chiefs, Black Leopards, Stellenbosch FC and overseas experience with Leuven in the Belgian second division. Ovidy Karuru is a great sensation and would be key to Swallows plans to fight off relegation under his former associate Dylan Kerr.

All that is needed now is to put pen to paper and Ovidy Karuru is back in the DStv Premiership, while his former club struggle in the GladAfrica Championship.
